运用激光技术在玻璃上打标方法介绍

  一种新技术使利用封离式CO2激光器直接在玻璃上打出轮廓鲜明的高质量的标记成为可能,这是一种可以取代昂贵的固体激光器和传统玻璃打标方法的技术(25W CO2激光器即可满足大多数在玻璃上打标的要求)。CO2激光器通过破坏玻璃表面在玻璃上打标,因而在玻璃上出现一定数量的裂纹是允许的,但过量的裂纹会导致标记不清晰、材料强度潜在变弱,更严重的是使基片变得疏松。在打标过程中精确控制材料的裂纹量就能避免这些问题。 

   有三种方法可用于控制玻璃表面上产生的裂纹类型和数量:第一种方法是采用多次激光辐射;第二种方法是采用离散点形成环状裂纹;第三种方法是产生龟裂状表面裂纹。采用一次激光辐射可在玻璃上产生一种轮廓鲜明的可见标记,但是裂纹和应力图案的方向将向垂直于激光移动的方向扩展。标记打印后短时间内甚至几天后,这些垂直于激光移动方向的裂纹将形成新的裂纹,扩展到原标记外附近区域形成碎片,从而影响标记的清晰度。利用多次激光辐射,使与标记区域相邻的区域通过热传导被加热,从而使这些区域形成应力梯度,减少二次破裂的可能性。采用这种方法在钠钙玻璃和硼硅酸盐玻璃上打标十分有效。一次激光辐射在熔成氧化硅玻璃和石英玻璃上打标比较有效,因为这两种材料膨胀系数很低。
